Eddie 'Blue' and The Storms – The Chichester Inn, Saturday 18 May

Relatively unknown in the UK, ex Hendrix band member from Texas, Eddie 'Blue' Lester won some British fans last night. The posters read 'Foot tappin' funky Rhythm & Blues' and that's what we got but with a whole lot more. Eddie's a true pro - a great singer, a superb sax player with a charismatic personality you just warm to. I hope Eddie is back next year on the festival circuit - he deserves to be on those stages. If he is, I hope he'll also be back on that intimate stage at The Inn!
